What has been released today in the Epstein files? Is Trump mentioned?
The DOJ released a new batch of files relating to Jeffrey Epstein.

Despite Venezuela, tariffs, ICE, Powell, Pretti and Good, Iran, immigration, and Greenland, Donald Trump can’t waft away the rotten stench coming from the Department of Justice’s office every time they open a new cardboard box filled to the brim with papers concerning his old pal, Jeffrey Epstein.
I won’t patronise you with a paragraph on Epstein’s disgusting history as a convicted sex trafficker, and instead will dive right into what the DoJ released today, Thursday 30 January 2026.
Why did the DOJ take so long to release more files?
The official reason behind the tardiness in releasing more files - more than 3 million pages - and going way past the law-binding 30-day limit was to ‘protect the victims’. Whether you believe that or not is another matter. Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche was taking the full force of what’s left of the media at the official release of the files, and he also said that DoJ “did not protect” current US President, Donald Trump.
I can assure that we complied with the statute, we complied with the act," he said. "We did not protect President Trump. We didn’t protect or not protect anybody, I think there’s a hunger or a thirst for information that I do not think will be satisfied by the review of these documents. There’s nothing I can do about that."

Is Donald Trump mentioned in the latest Epstein files?
Well, the paper pile could probably reach the moon at this point, so it will take a lot of sifting and even more cups of coffee to search through them all. Add to that the heavily redacted nature of the files and you’ve got yourself one tough job.
However, Trump’s name does indeed appear to come up in the newest release of the files. I’ll let you read it for yourself, but a now-deleted link to the files on the DoJ website led to a number of alleged instances of abuse from the man who is now president. I found the file on the DoJ’s official website, but clicking the link simply takes you to a ‘Page not found’ brick wall.

What’s been released in the newest round of Epstein files?
As said, the news of what is exactly in all the documents will take time to read and analyse, but we’ve seen Ghislaine Maxwell’s naturalization certificate certificate, which lists her home address as being on Epstein’s island, as well as her registration into the Joint Automated Booking System from her arrest in 2020.
Entire pages of documents are also redacted, with no indication as to what they may be. All the names and images of the victims are also redacted.
However, Blanche said that “if any member of Congress wishes to review any portions of the response of production in any unredacted form, they’re welcome to make arrangements with the department to do so, and we’re happy to do that.”
