While Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump were no strangers to the spotlight before Donald Trump brought them along with him to Washington DC to serve in his administration, the ensuing four years made returning to their hometown of New York City unfeasible. So, instead they went south, along with the rest of the Trump clan, moving to Florida, seeking out privacy along with a more favorable climate and neighbors.

They didn’t settle near the patriarch’s Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach but bought a vacant lot on the super-exclusive Indian Creek Island in Miami. In the 2020 election, of the votes cast in their new village, almost 80 percent were for Trump. Forbes dubbed the 0.4 square mile gated community the “Billionaire Bunkerdue to the extremely wealthy residents and because it has its own police force and 24-hour armed marine patrol. Guests must have permission to cross the bridge to the island and are not allowed to exit their car until they reach their host’s house.

Where do Ivanka Trump, Jared Kushner and their three children live?

The couple ended up buying a second property in April 2021 with an existing house on it for $24 million which they completely remodeled. The renovation work took a little more than a year, but Ivanka, Jared and their three children (Arabella, 12, Joseph, 10, and Theodore, 7) are now installed there.

Jared and Ivanka’s house is set back on the roughly 1.3 acre property and like all forty-or-so on the island, it faces the water and has its own dock. They have a boat and a pair of jet skis, as well the whole family has taken up watersports like wake surfing since moving to Florida.

The front yard has a reflecting pool and extensive landscaping. While in the back there is “a large pool and a lavish spa-cabana featuring an outdoor shower, a sauna, a cold plunge, and a central ‘breezeway,’” according to the Daily Mail. There is also a guesthouse to block the view of the pool area from any onlookers that pass by in a boat.

The spacious 8,510-square-foot residence has six bedrooms and eight-and-a-half bathrooms. The property and the house abut the road into the ultra-exclusive community and the only bridge connecting the island to the outside world.
