The new Twitter owner Musk backs Republicans on the eve of U.S. midterms. He decided, for the first time, from a power position that he held to engage in political lobbying with his recognizable pragmatic attitude.
He justified his declaration by insisting on a democratic balance between the president (dem.) and the Congres majority, which up until now was held by the Democrats.
The Republican party is favored to win a majority in this year’s Midterm Elections for the House of Representatives, with the Senate probably decided by nonpartisan voters, considering the proximity in the polls. Democrats now govern both houses.
