It is worth noting that the Golden Globe Awards have been presented annually since 1943 and are handed out by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association to recognise excellence in film and television.
Who has the most Golden Globe acting awards?
When it comes to acting, it’s Hollywood legend Meryl Streep that is the Golden Globes’ most decorated actor. The now 76-year old has picked up eight awards in acting categories during a career that has spanned nearly half a century. Maybe unsurprisingly, Streep also holds the record for the most nominations, having been a contender for a statuette 33 times.
