Who has the most Golden Globe acting awards?
When it comes to acting, it’s Hollywood legend Meryl Streep that is the Golden Globes’ most decorated actor. The now 73-year old has picked up eight awards in acting categories during a career that has spanned nearly half a century. Maybe unsurprisingly, Streep also holds the record for the most nominations, having been a contender for a statuette 32 times.
In addition to her eight Golden Globes in acting categories, Streep was in 2017 presented with the Cecil B. DeMille award - a lifetime achievement accolade handed out by the HFPA for “outstanding contributions to the world of entertainment”.
