Who were the other passengers on the plane with Wagner Group boss Prigozhin?
On Wednesday reports emerged that a private plane crashed with 10 people on board, including the man who threatened President Putin.


In a serious development on Wednesday, Russian state news agency RIA has conveyed that eight bodies have been located at the scene of a private jet crash. Initially, Russia’s emergency situations ministry had communicated that the aircraft carried a total of ten individuals. Notably, Yevgeny Prigozhin, the prominent Russian mercenary leader, was listed as a passenger on the ill-fated aircraft. Find out more about Prigozhin.

Did Prigozhin and Utkin die in the Russia plane crash?
The crash occurred to the north of Moscow. And while the Russian aviation authority has indicated Prigozhin’s presence on the passenger list, there has been no definitive confirmation of his actual presence on the plane at the time of the incident. Likewise, reports have stated that the founder of the Wagner PMC Group, Dmitry Utkin alongside several other Wagner Officers were aboard the aircraft.

As per the BBC, “Wagner-linked Telegram channel Grey Zone reported the Embraer aircraft was shot down by air defences in the Tver region, north of Moscow.”
