Why isn’t Ivanka Trump going to campaign for her father in the 2024 presidential race?
The daughter of the president has already counted herself out of assisting his return to the White House, citing the beginning of her new family.

While Donald Trump was busy making his first announcement for his presidential run for 2024, not all of his family members were present. Conspicuous by her absence was Ivanka Trump, daughter of the former president.
New: Ivanka Trump says in statement obtained by ABC that she will remain out of politics and won’t campaign with her father as he seeks the presidency in 2024. Ivanka did not attend tonight’s launch with other family Melania, Jared, Eric, Lara, Barron.

During his tenure in the top job, Ivanka was an advisor to Donald. She was an unofficial advisor before being formally introduced into the president’s top team. She made a number of visits in an official capacity, such as visiting India in 2017 as well as being present for the opening of the US embassy in Jersualem in 2018.
However, it seems she will play no further role in the political adventures of her father. In a statement, Ivanka Trump said, “I love my father very much. This time around, I am choosing to prioritize my young children and the private life we are creating as a family. I do not plan to be involved in politics.”
She added: “While I will always love and support my father, going forward I will do so outside the political arena. I am grateful to have had the honor of serving the American people and will always be proud of many of our administration’s accomplishments.”

Ivanka married Jared Kushner in 2009. They have three children.
It was reported that Trump had spent the weekend attempting to convince Ivanka to appear with him onstage for his 2024 announcement. In the end Ivanka was not present at Mar-a-Lago when her father delivered the news, while Kushner appeared in the crowd alongside brother-in-law Eric Trump.
