Worst baby names according to nurses: “Do parents really hate their child that much?”
Nurses tasked with the role of bringing life into the world have revealed the baby names that made them question the meaning of everything.

Why are you called what you’re called? Are you named after a grandparent? A word with a deeper meaning? A sports star? Your mother’s celebrity crush?
Whatever the reason, I’m sure it’s a valid one from your parents. For the worst baby name in the world (unofficially), I’m not sure what conclusion to make.
However, it seems one particular Reddit user had the answer:
I live in Germany where I used to think the name laws are more strict than in other countries - the city will decide whether the name you chose is an actual name or the child will be bullied for it. Yet, a friend who works there told me that in our local birth center, the nurses have a list of the top 3 worst names of that year. I can‘t remember 2 and 3 sadly, but voted Nr. 1 worst name was:
Richie Rich Putin.
Just felt like I had to share that while lying awake thinking about my soon to be born child‘s name.
‘Do parents really hate their child that much?’
It appears that the name Richie Rich Putin - a strange combination of Macaulay Culkin’s 1990s classic film “Richie Rich,” and Russian president, Vladimir Putin - managed to slip through Germany’s naming net, with the original poster saying “I believe (not 100% sure) the poor thing had to leave the place with that actual name.”
“Do parents really hate their child that much?” commented one user, adding “Or do they think its funny and don’t think it through for the kid’s future?”
Another added that “naming laws are a thing we need in the states.”
