Update:
Nintendo reveals their top-selling indie games of 2021

The Nintendo Switch library is full of titles for everyone. From classic titles like Mario and Zelda, to new franchises and stories for everyone to experience. This year, the library was nourished by a large collection of AAA titles that make the console attractive, and the same can be said for indie titles.

For some time, Indie titles became an important part of the game strategy for the Japanese company. These even have their own special stream called Indie World, where many of the upcoming titles are showcased for those curious to see what else could be played on the Nintendo Switch.

2021 was a great year for these games on the Switch, and Nintendo just released a special video showing the 15 best-selling indie games during the year. Although it doesn’t mention any sales number, it’s a handy list just in case you have some money and try something new.

If you just want to know the names of the games, here is the list in alphabetical order:

  • Axiom Verge 2
  • Curse of the Dead Gods
  • Cyber Shadow
  • Doki Doki Literature Club Plus
