EA says goodbye to the Liga MX, eFootball is their new home

EA and FIFA will say goodbye to Mexico’s Liga BBVA MX as Japan's Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. announced today the historic exclusivity agreement for their eFootball. This will allow all fans of the Mexican league to play with their favorite clubs in Konami's soccer simulator.

With this new partnership, the LIGA BBVA MX will finally be coming to eFootball in the near future and will undoubtedly come with new sponsorship agreements. In addition to the various marketing activities and future in-game implementation of the LIGA BBVA MX in eFootball, this agreement will create an esports competition for both amateur and professional players. eFootball is a soccer video game platform from the makers of Pro Evolution Soccer and Winning Eleven. It is free and the full version of eFootball 2022 (1.0.0) is coming to PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC this spring, shortly after which it will arrive on iOS and Android.
