Flabébé and evolutions will make their debut in the iOS and Android game. The event will include Valentine's Day-themed collection challenges and more.
Niantic has announced the Valentine's Day 2022 event for Pokémon GO. Like every year, the iOS and Android video game will celebrate Valentine's Day with a special event that will give us access to a variety of activities, from a collection challenge to different research missions with various rewards. Above all, it highlights the arrival of Flabébé to the title, one of the most iconic Pokémon of the beautiful Kalos region. Pokémon GO Valentine's Day Event: date and time confirmed
Pokémon GO's Valentine's Day 2022 event will debut this Thursday, February 10, 2022, at 10:00 and will be available until Monday, February 14, 2022, at 20:00 local time. Flabébé, Floette and Florges will make their debut in Pokémon GO during this period. In addition, Heart Trim Furfrou will be Furfrou's new form change.
Flabébé's debut in Pokémon GO: colors and how to evolve it
- Flabébé, Floette and Florges will appear in five different colors: red, yellow, orange, blue and white.
- Flabébé can evolve into Floette with 25 Flabébé Candies.
- Floette will be able to evolve into Florges with 100 Flabébé Candy + having obtained 20 hearts with it as your buddy.

Global Valentine's Day 2022 Challenge: all the details
The event will include a Global Challenge from Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. PST to Tuesday, February 15, at 12:00 a.m. PST. To participate, it will be enough to send gifts to our friends. When players send enough gifts, these bonuses will be unlocked for all Trainers worldwide:
- Global Challenge Bonus: 3× Transfer Candy
- Global Challenge Goal: Send 70,000,000 Gifts
Collection Challenges
The event will bring with it two Valentine's Day-themed collection challenges. If we complete them we will be able to find a Female Frillish and a Male Frillish. We will know soon what these challenges consist of.
