How to redeem Fortnite codes: skins, V-Bucks cards and more
We tell you how to redeem Fortnite codes in 2022 for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and mobile.
One of the ways we have to get V-Bucks, skins packs or other cosmetic items in Fortnite are the codes that we can redeem. In this page of our Fortnite Battle Royale guide we tell you how to redeem codes:
How to redeem V-Bucks card codes in Fortnite (2022)
To redeem V-Bucks card codes in Fortnite, we have to go to this section of the Epic Games website, and log in with our Epic/Fortnite account.
Once this is done, select the option "Have A Code For V-Bucks? Go Here To Redeem". This will open a new section where we have to follow the steps: we have to enter the V-Bucks code, and on which platform we play Fortnite Battle Royale.

How to redeem Fortnite skin pack codes on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch (2022)
To redeem physical skins pack codes in Fortnite, such as those of the Last Laugh or Minty Legends packs, we will have to go to the online bazaars of each platform on which we have purchased this pack in physical format:
- PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5: we log into the console with the PlayStation Network profile linked to the Fortnite/Epic Games account to which we want to add the content. Then we head to the PlayStation Store. Here, we enter the redeem code section. It can also be done from the PlayStation Store website; we click on our avatar (after logging in), click on redeem code and enter the code.
- Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S: we log into the console with the Xbox Live profile linked to the Fortnite/Epic Games account to which we want to add the content, and we go to the Microsoft Store. Here, we enter the redeem code section. It can also be done from the Microsoft website; we sign in with our account and, in the link above, we simply enter the code.
- Nintendo Switch: we have to redeem the code included inside the Nintendo eShop window. We enter the Nintendo eShop from the Switch with the account we want to redeem the content. Once here, we simply use the "redeem code" option, where we must enter the code at hand. It can also be done from the Nintendo eShop website; we log in with our account and, in the previous link, we simply enter the code.
Using any of these methods (depending on your platform), you will get the redeemed items the next time you log in to Fortnite.
How to redeem free item codes in Fortnite (2022)
From time to time, through various types of promotions, Epic Games often gives away free items for Fortnite in the form of codes that we must redeem on their website. We simply enter the link mentioned before, log in with our Fortnite/Epic Games account, and enter and redeem the particular code. We will get the items the next time we log into Fortnite Battle Royale on any platform with the same account.
