Diablo 3 will receive a small graphics boost on Xbox Series X|S as part of patch 2.7.3, which will be released on April 12. Microsoft's next-gen will finally lock down the resolution on both consoles with the Xbox Series X will do so at 4K, while Xbox Series S will maintain 1080p. So far both consoles have been using a temporary solution, but from the patch onwards they will run at native resolution.

The update stands out for being the preparation for the start of season 26, which will start on April 15 at 17:00 (PDT). Among the contents it will include is Echoing Nightmare, the first Seasonal Theme that will implement a new in-game activity.

“Players will experience an intense, densely packed, increasingly challenging event that stretches their ability to stay in the fight as long as possible,” the company highlights on its official website. Among the rewards for completing one are experience bonuses, legendary items, Blood Shards, and gems, including the new Whisper of Atonement.
