Tiny Elden Ring turns FromSoftware's title into an adorable isometric RPG
A user modifies the camera of the celebrated action RPG to achieve a new point of view that is as surprising as it is effective thanks to the use of Tilt-shift.
Elden Ring continues to make the headlines despite the time elapsed since its release, a month and a half ago, on PC, PS4, Xbox One, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Recently, a new world record in speedruns on that title has been set, achieving an incredible time of less than 9 minutes. But now, we want to stop in a new approach to the work of Hidetaka Miyazaki much more peaceful, almost contemplative. A user has managed to modify the title's camera to offer a new and totally unprecedented perspective that brings FromSoftware's game closer to a classic isometric RPG.

The user Flurdeh has surprised Elden Ring fans with a new point of view radically different from the one proposed by FromSoftware for its fantastic open world, making the landscapes of the Lands Between look like dioramas, reminiscent of classic RPGs such as Final Fantasy VII or the most recent title by Hironobu Sakaguchi, Fantasian, exclusive for iOS devices through Apple Arcade..
The result is a new aerial camera, far away from the player's character and showing the majestic environments of Elden Ring with a blurring technique that makes the images shown on screen look really small. As if they were huge dioramas, the technology known as Tilt-shift achieves such a curious effect with relative ease, allowing us to play this popular videogame in a totally different way from how it was originally conceived and constantly playing with the changes of the scenarios' depth. The change of perspective is truly impressive, showing that the change of perspective transforms and gives another kind of beauty to this game.
Elden Ring is now available for PC, PS4, Xbox One, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, being a hit among press and RPG fans.
