Halo Infinite unveils new Season 2 game modes in action-packed trailer

Halo Infinite is on the verge of receiving its second Season 2. Under the nickname Lone Wolves, 343 Industries will launch the new content package on May 3. Now the studio confirms the three game modes that will be added to the rotation. You can see them in action below:

The three game modes coming to Halo Infinite in Season 2 are as follows

King of the Hill marks the return of one of the most beloved modes by the community, although it will not be without novelties. When controlling an area, a meter will be filled as long as there are no other enemies inside. The team that manages to fill the bar first will add a point to the global scoreboard, which will direct the dispute to the next control zone. So on and so forth until the best team wins.

Land Grab, the second mode to arrive, replaces the classic Territories. There will be three neutral zones at the start of the game. When a team takes one of them, they will get one point. Players will have to fight for control and score points until they reach 11 points. When all three zones are conquered, there will be an interlude period that will lead to the generation of three more zones.

Last Spartan Standing is the mode linked to the theme of this Season 2. We are talking about a free-for-all game mode in which 12 players fight to be the last survivor. The rules are concise: five respawns per player and a confined loadout. When a player kills another player he will be able to upgrade his weapon to another model, so the risk will be rewarded, as in "Escalation Slayer". It will only be played on Big Team Battle maps.

Both King of the Hill and Last Spartan Standing will be available from day one. Specifically, the former will be part of the Quick Play and Ranked Arena rotation. In the case of the latter, it is part of the first seasonal event, although when it ends it will still be available in other lists. During the festive frame it will be played only on Breaker, one of the two new maps. In the case of Land Grab, we will have to wait for the Fracture: Entrenched event "around a month after " the Season 2 launch.
