Black Clover author to take a short break to work on manga finale
Mangaka Yuki Tabata will have more time to elaborate on the manga and will rest for about three months approximately for the conclusion of his work.
The Black Clover manga is getting ready for a break. This is because its author, Yuki Tabata, needs to concentrate on the elaboration of its final arc. This has been announced by the editorial team of the Japanese magazine Weekly Shonen Jump, which has also included a message from the mangaka. According to his own words, at first, he preferred to continue, but after a talk with the publisher both decided to proceed in this way.
“Thank you for always supporting Black Clover,” wrote Shonen Jump. “To prepare for the new story arc, Black Clover will be going on a short break starting next issue. After discussing things with Tabata Sensei, it was decided to allow him to rest for a short amount of time before starting the creation of the new arc.”
According to Shonen Jump, the break is planned to last "about three months," and its return will be announced in a later issue of the magazine. This may be difficult news for those looking forward to the next chapter, but we request your patience and understanding. " They also hope that readers will continue to support the manga as they have been.
The author's message
As we mentioned, Shonen Jump's editorial team's text was accompanied by a personal message from Yuki Tabata to the readers. "I personally wished to keep going without taking a break, but after discussing things with the editorial department, we decided that I should take a long break to give me more time to create the final arc."
The author has apologized to fans who were waiting for the new adventures, but has promised that his plan is to give it his all to make Black Clover's closure the best it can be. I’d appreciate it if you could just wait a little longer," he said.
Black Clover is published by Viz Media in the United States.
