Genshin Impact announces two events for version 2.6 due to 2.7 delay
The HoYoVerse team propose a couple of new events for version 2.6 in Genshin Impact due to the delay of the 2.7 update of the game.
Genshin Impact developers recently announced a delay in the arrival of the 2.7 update of the game. Despite not specifying the reasons, from HoYoVerse (or miHoYo) they have proposed a couple of new events for the current version 2.6 so that players are left with nothing to do while waiting for major news for the next big patch. Here is a summary of what we know about these events and when they will be held.
New events for Genshin Impact 2.6
Beyond the gacha (with Ayaka's rerun mainly) and other typical events currently available and since a couple of weeks ago, we find a couple of new events whose characteristics and dates are detailed below:
Spices From the West Event
- Event Duration: from May 14th, 10:00 am until June 7th, 3:59 am.
- Description: During the event, help Nazafarin conduct her research by making seasonings according to the recipes provided to obtain rewards such as Primegems, Hero’s Wit, Weapon Ascensions Materials and Mora.
- Eligibility: Reach Adventure Rank 20 or above to create seasonings. Teach Adventure Rank 28 or above and complete the quest “Idle Teapot Talk” to cook the corresponding dishes and invite characters to taste-test.
Event Overflowing Mastery
- Event Duration: from May 22th at 4 am until May 29, 3:59 am.
- Description:during the “Overflowing Mastery” event, successfully challenge Talent Level-Up Material Domains such as “Forsaken Rift”, “Taishan Mansion” and “Violet Court” and consume “Original Resin” To double your rewards. You can double your rewards up to 3 times a day!
- Eligibility: having previously activated the corresponding talent enhancement material domains
