A developer posts a free tech benchmark on Steam that lets you test if your computer is ready for Unreal Engine 5 graphics. Is your PC ready?
Unreal Engine 5 continues to prove its technical potential. Epic Games' new version of their graphics engine showed its muscle with Matrix Awakens, but some users continue to help the community delve deeper into it. We are referring to EzBench Benchmark, a free demo available on Steam that will put your computer to the test.
Extheory AS, the developer behind this application, points out that this tool allows you to try out the "next-generation graphics" in full detail. Its formula consists of textures that reach 8K resolutions, cinema-quality assets and ray tracing. All of this running on your computer in real-time, no trick or gimmick.

In the requirements, they explain that EzBench Benchmark can run at lower specs, but don't expect "stable, fluid frames" even meeting the minimums. "This software tests the limits of your GPU, Memory and CPU. In particular our "Extreme Mode" will cause extreme stress and high thermals on most chipsets."
