Top Gun: Maverick expansion for Microsoft Flight Simulator is now available at no additional cost. New missions, a brand new fighter and more.
Microsoft Flight Simulator receives the contents related to Top Gun: Maverick, the sequel to the movie starring Tom Cruise. The expansion, free for all players, allows you to dive into new missions and elements surrounding the film. You can download it now on PC and Xbox X Series X|S.
"Develop the skills required and navigate the complexities encountered by actual Top Gun pilots in authentic locations including the most challenging landing – on an aircraft carrier," explains Asobo Studios on its official website.
What's included in the Top Gun: Maverick expansion for Microsoft Flight Simulator?
- A “Top Gun: Maverick Edition” livery for the F/A-18E Super Hornet.
- Three Super Hornet training missions where you can "master radical flight maneuvers including unrestricted take-offs" and more.
- Five high-speed, challenges "that require utmost skill to navigate just above mountains and traverse through canyons."
- A carrier deck landing challenge.
- A "never-before-unveiled" hypersonic fighter that can reach speeds of Mach 10 and altitudes in excess of 150,000 feet.
- A mission "to roar" into the stratosphere.
