Take out the Joy-Con for your iPhone: iOS 16 will be compatible with Nintendo Switch controllers

Do you have an iPhone and a Nintendo Switch? This is for you: the Japanese console controllers will be compatible with the release of iOS 16. The new version of the operating system adds the ability to use both your Joy-Con pair and the Pro controller.

The announcement comes after the company released the first beta of this new version to developers. When paired with your iPhone, they will appear with their official name in the Bluetooth section.

The community has discovered that the support reaches up to the dynamic changes of Joy-Con, that is, you can even play with just one. In case you play with two and want to give the second one to another player, the mobile will detect the change after pressing the combination of screenshot + home buttons.
