Summer Game Fest 2022 - Everything announced at the event

Live from Los Angeles, California, Geoff Keighley presented the new games, announcements and surprises for 2022. Here are all the titles that were presented during the Summer Game Fest 2022.

Street Fighter VI

Capcom's fighting game is coming in 2023 and was the first title to make an appearance at the show, featuring an older (and with a goatee) Guile in action. You can watch the video below:

Aliens Dark Descent

The first new game announced at this Summer Game Fest was Aliens Dark Descent, from the mythical horror franchise Alien. Not much information was given about this title, but it was announced that it will be released on consoles and PC in 2023.

Callisto Protocol

From the team that brought Dead Space, we had a new trailer with "little more gore" from Callisto Protocol. The release date was announced with the trailer: December 2nd, 2022. Glen Schofield, director of the game, was on stage to talk a little more about the title and present two gameplay segments, to meet new enemies and weapons.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

Johanna Ferris, GM of Call of Duty, presented the Gameplay reveal of the upcoming Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 with the Dark Water mission. In this trailer, we could see a night mission in an oil rig, while elements such as a storm were part of the shooting. You can learn more about this upcoming title here, along with its multiplayer.

Flashback 2

A classic PC Gaming franchise is back 30 years later. Flashback will return in Winter 2022.

Witchfire

From The Astronauts comes a surprising first-person shooter 5 years after its announcement. "Soon" there will be early access on Epic Games Store

Fort Solis

A new game with some familiar names in the world of video game acting, including Troy Baker and Roger Clark, makes its debut. Fallen Leaf and Black Drakkar present their sci-fi horror title, Fort Solis, where they will set the player to explore along "a narrative with a great story," according to Baker.

Routine

Continuing with the space theme, and the return of games, we had the announcement of Routine, originally announced almost a decade ago and finally coming to Xbox and PC. This title proposes a first-person survival action-adventure set on an abandoned moon base.

Outriders

Outriders is still with us. This sci-fi action-shooter and role-playing video game from People Can Fly shows the trailer of its new Worldslayer update. This will arrive on June 30, and the reveal will take place on June 10.

Stormgate

A new game, a new universe from the legendary developers of Front Giant Studios. Tim Morten CEO of Frost Game Studios presented a bit about this RTS title which will have a beta in 2023.

Highwater

Another independent title was announced by demagog studio. In this adventure/puzzle/strategy video game title we travel through a post-apocalyptic world where water has flooded the Earth due to climate change. It will arrive in 2022.

American Arcadia

As part of Tribeca Selection, American Arcadia was presented, a title where you control a person trying to escape from a city that is broadcasting 24/7 to the rest of the world. It will come to PC and consoles.

Goat Simulator 3

After years of rumors, and parodying another title that will be released someday, the first trailer of Goat Simulator 3 was shown.

Marvel Midnight Suns

After a few months of silence, we see again something related to the next Marvel title developed by 2K and Firaxis Games, Marvel Midnight Suns with a new trailer, characters and skins. Marvel Midnight Suns will arrive on October 7.

Cuphead in The Delicious Last Course

Cuphead DLC is finally coming on June 30 for all platforms. In addition to a brief gameplay trailer, it was announced that a preview of the second season of its animated series will be shown tomorrow on Netflix Geeked.

Neon White

Sinners looking to get to heaven have to eliminate demons in this very particular shooter coming June 16 to Nintendo Switch and PC.

Midnight Fight Express

A new look at the chaotic Midnight Fight Express, A one-man beat em up made its presentation and it was announced that a demo is now available on Steam.

Warframe

A debut of The Duviri Paradox was announced. More details will be announced at Tennocon on June 16.

Honkai Starrail

The studio behind Genshin Impact, HoyoVerse, shows off their space RPG (lots of space today).

Zenless Zone Zero

More from HoyoVerse, with the debut of Zenless Zone Zero, announced a few weeks ago, finally has a debut with more details.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge

New details of the game were shown in a new trailer, announcing the arrival of the mythical Casey Jones and its release on June 16.

Humankind

Six cultures from Latin America join Humankind with the Cultures of Latin America update, available now. In addition, its upcoming arrival on consoles, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S is announced.

One Piece Odyssey

The Straw Hat Pirates made an appearance at the Summer Game Fest with new gameplay of One Piece Odyssey, which will arrive in 2022.

Soul Hackers 2

Atlus' new RPG title showed a new trailer with the first English voice-over, revealing also its release date.

Metal Hellsinger

A metal rhythm shooter that has been on Steam for a few months now, showed a brief trailer along with its release date: September 15.

The Quarry

Until Dawn's spiritual successor shows us a new trailer.

Nightingale

A new look at this survival and crafting game that is being developed by Inflexion Games lets us navigate through procedural realms through portals and create cards.

Saints Row

Announced the launch of the Saints Row Boss Factory demo, which allows you to create your own Boss prior to the game's release. See more information here.

Warhammer 40,000 Darktide

An exclusive look at this up to 4-person co-op within the Warhammer universe was presented.

Layers of Fears

Bloober Team presents a new trailer for their upcoming horror game, Layers of Fear. The title will arrive in early 2023.

Gotham Knights

The bat family was part of the Summer Game Fest, where a new gameplay glimpse of the game was presented by Fleur Marty, Executive Producer of the game.

The Last of Us

Neil Druckmann, co-president of Naughty Dog arrived on stage, first to announce the stand-alone multiplayer, which will feature "a new cast of characters in a new location" within the game's universe and will arrive next year. Also presented were details of The Last of Us series made by HBO, whose last day of filming will be tomorrow, Neil Druckmann directed one of the episodes of the series and showed a still from that episode. Troy Baker and Ashley Johnson will have cameos in the series. Finally, and what was already leaked in the morning, The Last of Us Part I Remake was officially shown and will arrive on September 2, 2022.
