Gran Turismo 7 celebrates the launch of patch 1.17 with new free content

Gran Turismo 7 continues to provide support to the community with a new round of free content. Patch 1.17, which will arrive on PS5 and PS4 next June 23, incorporates three new vehicles and a track unpublished in the franchise: Watkins Glen International. Along with the additions we can expect corrections and adjustments to the experience, as usual in Polyphony Digital's support.

The garage of the seventh numbered installment expands with the Suzuki V6 Escudo Pikes Peak '98, the Gr.3 version of Vision Gran Turismo and the classic 1992 Ford Roadster. The former is notable for returning after a decade away from the franchise. Its off-road potential makes it a serious alternative for rally events.

The GT Café menus will be expanded with three cards, each focused on a specific theme. You will be able to access a Toyota 86 and Honda Type R when you reach collector level 20, while the rotary engine will require level 32. Remember that to progress in this chain you must amass cars in your garage; the more valuable they are, the more points you will get.

On the other hand, the debut of the Watkins Glen International circuit in the saga allows racing on one of the most popular tracks in the United States. Originally opened in 1956, it has been home to a multitude of competitions on four wheels, such as NASCAR and Formula 1. It has also been the site chosen to host endurance races with the mythical 6 hours at Watkins Glen. It comes to the game in its two aspects, both the full track and the short course.

Gran Turismo 7 arrived earlier this year, available exclusively for PS5 and PS4.
