Pokémon GO boosts itself in July: all the events and Pokémon in raids
We tell you everything that awaits you in Pokémon GO throughout the month of July 2022. The raids will renew the selected Pokémon and much more.
Pokémon GO has unveiled all the new features it will bring to players throughout July 2022. Beyond the Pokémon GO Fest in Berlin and Seattle, the company will hold other events to coincide with the game's anniversary. We tell you everything you need to know so you don't miss anything.
All Pokémon GO events in July
The month will start with the Pokémon GO anniversary event. Between July 6 and 12, players will celebrate the six years it has been available on iOS and Android mobile devices. A few weeks later, from July 27 to August 2, there will be a campaign which its theme has not yet been revealed. You can expect a lot of bonuses for catching and much more.
This time, the Community Day is set for the 17th. Starly, the Starling Pokémon, will appear in the wild in all corners of the game. When you evolve a Staravia, Starly's evolution, you will get a Staraptor that will learn Gust, a fast attack of 16 damage in trainer battles and 25 damage in gyms and raids. As usual, it also gives place to a field research for $1.00. Between 11:00 AM and 19:00 PM local time you will have access to the following perks:
- 3× Catch XP.
- 2× chance to receive Starly Candy XL from catching Starly
- 2× Candy for catching Pokémon.
- Lure Modules activated during the event will last for three hours.
- Incense activated during the event will last for three hours.
- Take a few snapshots during Community Day for a surprise!
- One additional special trade can be made during the event and up to five hours afterward for a maximum of three for the day*
- Trades made during the event and up to five hours afterward will require 50% less Stardust.
