If you bought an Xbox One X Cyberpunk 2077 Edition you will not get the new expansion, but you will get a refund for it
One of the extras included in the console was the expansion that would arrive in the future. Now it is official, but only for the new generation versions.
Although we had to wait longer than expected, the new and ambitious expansion of Cyberpunk 2077, Phantom Liberty, was officially announced yesterday. The news was long awaited among fans of the game, but there is something very important that we should not overlook: the expansion will only come to the new generation versions (PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S).
Leaving behind the PS4 and Xbox One versions has led to a problem: what about Xbox One X and its Cyberpunk 2077 Edition? At the time, the console brought with it the pass to receive future expansions, but now it will not come to this console. However, CD Projekt RED has thought about it: buyers will be able to claim a refund in the form of a balance for the Microsoft Store. No details have been released yet; you can keep an eye on the game's official website.
Keanu Reeves returns to the stage
The charismatic actor will once again step into the shoes of Johny Silverhand, one of the most important characters in Cyberpunk 2077. In the Phantom Liberty trailer, we hear the protagonist, V, say the following: "I, V, do solemnly swear that I shall faithfully serve the New United States of America," just before the action begins and we get the first glimpse of everything that awaits us in the expansion.
If you're a fan of the RPG from the creators of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, you're probably looking forward to the animated series based on the game's universe, Cyberpunk 2077 Edgerunners. It will premiere on Netflix next September 13. In addition, the game itself has confirmed the addition of content from the anime.
