Fortnite: Season 3 won't have a final event
Everything indicates that Fortnite Season 3 Chapter 3 will not have a final event as in other seasons. We tell you everything we know so far here.

There will be no final event in Fortnite Season 3: all details
As we discussed in the introductory paragraph of this news, Fortnite patch 21.51 arrived on Wednesday, September 7, 2022. It was a light patch with respect to major content updates (in fact, being a .01 implies that it was a minor patch), and the final status of the encrypted .pak containers confirmed suspicions: there will be no Fortnite Season 3 final event simply because the size of these files is too small.
The .paks encrypted after Fortnite patch 21.51 are as follows; we know this information thanks to datamining tools and techniques:
When there has been a final event, the container with its files used to weigh 300 MB and above. So, as you can see, we can deduce that there will be no event at the end of Fortnite Season 3 Chapter 3 next September 17. It can be assumed that there will be a "clean" transition to Season 4 on Sunday, September 18.
What's going on with the story of Fortnite Season 3?
Although there is no final event in Fortnite Season 3, we know from Vibin' Missions that all members of The Seven will eventually disappear. In fact, an official art that appeared momentarily on the Nintendo Switch eShop (only to be removed shortly after being published in error) shows The Paradigm's hand being absorbed by a mysterious watery substance.
No one knows what will happen to The Seven, although it looks like the new villain that appeared in the Season 3 teaser trailer has a lot to do with all of this.
