Nintendo Direct 9.13.22: everything announced

This morning we had a Nintendo Direct related to the upcoming games that will be released during Winter 2023, with a length of 40 minutes. Here we show you all the games presented today:

Fire Emblem Engage

A brand new Fire Emblem for Nintendo Switch was announced, where past characters like Marth or Sigurd will aid the new characters thanks to the power of some rings. Fire Emblem Engage will launch on January 20th, 2023. A “Divine Edition” will also be available.

It Takes Two

2021 Game of The Year, It Takes Two will arrive on Nintendo Switch on November 4th. The game will be played on both local couch Co-op as well as with two separate systems.

Fatal Frame: Mask of the lunar eclipse

For the first time in the West, this installment of the famous Japanese horror franchise arrives on the Nintendo Switch early in 2023.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 - Wave 2 DLC

A brand new hero, the mechanical Ino, joins the game. Complete her story and add her to your party. Some Special items and outfits will also arrive in this pack on October 13.

Fitness Boxing Fist of the Northstar

The Fitness Boxing franchise joins forces with the classic anime Fist of the North Star to bring a new way to train. This edition will arrive on March, 2023.

Tunic

The fantastic tale of this fox will arrive to the Nintendo Switch on September 27.

FRONT MIssion 1st and Front Mission 2 Remake

Announced earlier this year, the remakes for FRONT MISSION show new game modes and features that will arrive. Front Mission 1st will arrive this November 2022, while Front Mission 2 will arrive on 2023. Also announced, the remake of Front Mission 3 will arrive “on the future”.

STORY OF SEASONS: A Wonderful Life

A brand new Story of Season will arrive on Summer 2023. As other titles in the franchise, manage a farm, restore it and be friends with the townfolks. But this time, time will pass over and the characters will grow.

Splatoon 3

The recently launched Splatton 3 announced its first Splatfest: “What would you bring to a deserted island? Gear, Grub or Fun?” This event will take place on September 23. A free update was also announced that will bring new items to the game.

Octopath Traveler II

A brand new title will bring 8 new characters to travel across the land of Celestia. A new era with different roads and stories will arrive on February 24, 2023.

Fae Farm

The second Farm Simulator RPG of the event, this time adding magic, enchanted worlds and the option to play in multiplayer. The game will be available exclusively for Nintendo Switch on 2023.

Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Final Bar Line

The Final Fantasy rhythm game will arrive with a total of 385 songs, categorized by game to enjoy the 35 years of the Square Enix franchise. The game will have a 2 players mode as well as a online multiplayer mode for up to 4 players. The game will arrive on February 16, 2023. Upcoming DLCs will add songs from SaGa, Nier, Octopath Traveler and Live a Live.

Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope

A new look at gameplay was shown, showing items, rewards, and sparks. The game will launc on October 20th. A Gold Edition was also announced, which includes the season pass and exclusive items.

Rune Factory 3 Special

The remaster of the RPG Farm Simulator will arrive on 2023 for Nintendo Switch. Also announced was the development of a new game on the series, which will be shown “in the future”.

Nintendo 64 Expansion Pack

New titles will be added in the following months to the Nintendo 64 Expansion Pack. Pilotwings 64, Mario Party, Mario Party 2, Mario Party 3, Pokémon Stadium, Pokémon Stadium 2, 1080 Snowboarding, Excitebike 64 and GoldenEye 007 will arrive between 2022 and 2023.

Mario Strikers: Battle League

Mario football game will receive this month a 2nd free update which will add 2 new characters -Pauline and Diddy Kong- as well as new gear and a brand new stadium.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Wave 3

The upcoming wave 3 will arrive this Holidays, and the first 2 tracks were shown: Merry Mountain from Mario Kart Tour and Peach Gardens from Mario Kart DS.

Nintendo Switch Sports

Golf will be added, with 21 holes from the Wii Sports series. Online play will be added with up to 8 players in survival golf. Although announced for Fall, this update will now arrive on Holidays 2022.

Pikmin 4

As part of Pikmin 20th anniversary, Nintendo is already working on Pikmin 4. The game will arrive on 2023.

Harvestella

A new gameplay video was shown of this life simulator RPG. A demo with the opening days of the game will be available today and all progress can be accessed on the final game, which will arrive on November 4.

Bayonetta 3

Bayonetta will fight to save the world in the third title. Known and new characters were shown. Bayonetta 3 will launch on October 28. A new Gameplay Trailer will launch on the official Nintendo YouTube channel

Master Detective Archives: Raincode

From the creators of Danganronpa, you will take control of a detective, solving mysterious cases. The wil game arrive on Spring 2023.

Resident Evil Village Cloud Edition

More information about the cloud version of Resident Evil Village, was announced, now with a release date on October 28, 2022. A free demo will arrive today, and the Winters’ Expansion DLC will arrive on December 2nd. Also, the previously Resident Evil Remake will arrive to the console as a cloud version.

Sifu

The brawler Sifu will arrive on Nintendo Switch this November 8.

Crisis Core - Final Fantasy VII Reunion

This Final Fantasy remaster confirms its release date, heading to Nintendo Switch on December 13.

Tales of Symphonia Remastered

This classic RPG Remaster will arrive to Nintendo Switch early 2023.

Kirby Return to DreamLand Deluxe

This remake will allow up to 4 players multiplayer in both story and in theur sub-games. The game will launc on February 24, 2023. Pre-orders begin today.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

Finally, a brand new trailer for the Breath of the Wild sequel was shown. The game also announced its release date on May 12, 2023.
