PS Plus October 2022 free games for PS5 and PS4 confirmed
We tell you which are the free games chosen for the month of October 2022 in the Essential mode of PS Plus. Hot Wheels: Unleashed stands out.
PlayStation Plus confirms the games that will be part of the grid at no additional cost for the Essential, Extra and Premium modes. Those chosen between October 4 and 31 are Hot Wheels Unleashed (PS5 and PS4), Injustice 2 (PS4) and Superhot (PS4). On the other hand, the company stresses that those chosen for the Extra and Premium catalog will be unveiled "later".
Toy car racing, fighting, and shooting
The trio of games that are part of the Essential catalog in October covers a varied range of genres. Hot Wheels Unleashed is one of the latest works from Milestone, responsible for franchises such as the current MotoGP. The toy brand will have you racing around its crazy orange tracks, either solo or online.
On the other hand, Injustice 2 stands as the definitive battle between the DC universe's superheroes (and anti-heroes). Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, and more battle it out under the Netherrealm label, responsible for sagas such as Mortal Kombat. Finally, Superhot takes you to an atypical shooter where each shooting is a puzzle. Time is frozen except when you move, at which point you must kill others while dodging enemy bullets.
Redeem your September 2022 PlayStation Plus games before they are retired
Hurry up! Until next October 3, you will find to redeem the titles that are part of the September wave. If you are Essential from now on you can add Toem (PS5), Need for Speed: Heat (PS4) and Granblue Fantasy Versus (PS4) to your digital library. Once you do so they will remain in your profile forever; you will be able to play as long as you are a member of any of the PlayStation Plus modes.
