New Pokémon Scarlet and Violet gameplay with 14 minutes of craziness: sandwich-making mini-game, Girafarig evolution,...
New Pokémon and evolutions, MT changes, and a picnic mini-game to make snacks for your Pokémon, the new Pokémon Scarlet and Violet trailer has it all.
14 minutes. That's how long the new gameplay trailer of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet lasts, in which Nintendo holds nothing back and details everything we can find in the new installments of the series. From the new academies where the adventure begins, with the so-called "treasure hunt" that will kick off the story, to the special transformations of this edition, a phenomenon known as Terastallize.
In the video you will find the new evolution of Girafarig, Farigiraf (what a gibberish both names are going to be); some of the tests that the renewed gyms will pose; the dimensions of the map and the importance of moving and traveling by vehicle (motorcycle); the MT (which are now manufactured in the Pokémon Centers, but allow only one use); and even minigames unpublished in the saga, among which are eating with your P (the possibility of going on a picnic and making sandwiches).
The trailer is full of Pokémon and scenarios we had not seen before, most of them with allusions to Spain, where Scarlet and Violet will be set. Because yes, 25 years later and after dozens of installments, the franchise will travel to that region and will do so full of winks to our culture: the Sagrada Familia as a Pokémon gym, the mills of Castile in one of the new routes, the desert of Almeria, the Plaza Mayor in Madrid, references to flamenco and Gaudi…
Between the new features in the trailer and the references to the chaste region of Paldea, we can't wait to get our hands on the games when they arrive on Nintendo Switch on November 18.
