Silent Hill
Silent Hill 2 Remake shares it’s PC spec requirements and they’re as scary as the game itself
Konami and Bloober Team have shared the minimum and recommended specs for the remake
A remake of Silent Hill 2 was one of the most awaited and outstanding announcements in Konami’s recent stream focused solely on the horror franchise, revealing out of the gate that the PS2 classic is making the jump to the current generation on Xbox, PlayStation and PC. The remake is being developed by Bloober Team, creators of fan favorite horror games like Layers of Fear and The Medium.
The game has already gotten an official page on Steam, and with that we now know the minimum and recommended specs required to enjoy the game on PC. And they’re nothing to laugh at.
Silent Hill 2 prerequisites on Steam
Far from only confirming that the game will launch with english and japanese voices (as well as a large selection of languages for subtitles), the oficial page shows that we’ll need at least an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 to play, jumping a few generations for the recommended specs. A powerful processor will also be required, as well as at least 16 GB of RAM.
While some people in the PC Gaming world will have no problem with these, it does suppose a pretty steep entry price for those that would like to make the jump to PC.
