Vision to have its own series on Disney+: first details of Vision Quest with Paul Bettany

The Scarlet Witch micro-universe in the UCM will have a new series for Disney+. Now it will be the turn for Vision to star in his own show on Disney's streaming platform with Paul Bettany himself playing the White Vision after the events of the Scarlet Witch and Vision series. This is what Deadline reports, sharing the first details of this new production, the second to be born from WandaVision after the already announced Agatha: Coven of Chaos, formerly known as Agatha: House of Harkness.

The return of White Vision after WandaVision

For the moment, the series is known as Vision Quest and will introduce us to the White Vision in his mission to recover his human side and his memories after the final events of WandaVision, in which this new Vision escaped from Westview with his new appearance and identity. As with the Agatha: Coven of Chaos series, Vision Quest is overseen by WandaVision creator, writer and executive producer Jac Schaeffer.

Recall that the White Vision appeared in episode 8 of WandaVision after being created by S.W.O.R.D. to try to destroy Wanda and the Vision created by her. All from the remains of the original Vision after the events of Avengers Infinity War. After the confrontation between the two incarnations of Vision in the last episode of the series, the White Vision ended up leaving Westview after claiming that "I am Vision."

Actor Paul Bettany himself had already advanced some time ago his desire to return as Vision: "We really found a lane for ourselves, and this was different in tone from those movies," in reference to the Vision of the series. "But you never know with Marvel, whether you’re done, or not. So I don’t want to call it the end yet. This was one of the most creative experiences of my life, joyful and free, making this show. To see it embraced by an audience the way it was, was so wonderful."

Of course, counting on being as powerful as the White Vision would be more than beneficial to the new Avengers.
