Nintendo Indie World November 2022: every announcement and date
We recap all of the indie games that were just announced during the recent Nintendo Indie World from November 2022.
This week, Nintendo surprised us with a new Indie World showcase that revealed over 20 upcoming indie games to be released on Nintendo Switch during the rest of 2022 and 2023.
While not everything is a console exclusive, this showcase did bring quite a lot to talk about, with the usual wide range of genres and styles that’s come to be expected of Nintendo’s “non-direct” livestreams. This time, the show closed off with Sports Story, the long awaited sports RPG game that puts you in the shoes of an athlete exploring a world of sports. The clips shown reveal that you’ll be engaging in every kind of sport from golf to BMX, as well as exploring dungeons, dealing with land pirates, and sneaking past soldiers MGS-style. The game launches on Switch on December 15.

Other noteworthy titles include A Little to the Left, a wholesome puzzle game about organizing household items while a sneaky cat creates chaos all around you, Aka, and adventure game where you play as a retired warrior fox exploring an island and helping other inhabitants, and Venba, a cooking game where you play as an immigrant in Canada rediscovering old family recipes, bonding with your family, and enjoying an Indian-musical-inspired soundtrack.
