Mawile is the new Pokémon available to challenge and capture in 3 star Raids in Pokémon GO. In this Pokémon GO guide we’ll tell you what the best counters are against Mawile, what attacks to use and which Pokémon to use if you want to defeat them. Here we go:

Mawile in Pokémon GO: explaining the Raid

Mawile is both a Steel Type and Fairy Type Pokémon available in 3 star Raids. It is vulnerable to Fire Type and Ground Type attacks, so you’ll have to center on Pokémon that match these Types or at least have these attack Types. If you can use a Megaevolution, even better. If you don’t have any Pokémon that are able to do any of this, then your best option is using the strongest one you have that’s able to do good DPS (Damage Per Second) and STAB (Same Type Attack Bonus).

Evidently, the more players take part during a Raid, the better the possibilities of success. Mawile can be really difficult to defeat by only one player, but a group of two or more players with good Ground or Fire Type Pokémon, as well as attacks of the same categories, should be able to beat the Raid without too much trouble.
