Full screen

Cliff is one of the high ranking members of Team GO Rocket, and he’s back in November 2022 in Pokémon GO. In this guide, we’ll tell you how to find and defeat him.

How to find Cliff in Pokémon GO?

  1. Cliff can appear in Pokémon GO both in Special Investigations about Team GO Rocket, as well as simply playing normally. Defeating him (alongside Arlo and Sierra) is one of the steps necessary to face off with Giovanni.
  2. The first step is getting a Rocket Radar. You can get one as a reward for Special Investigations, buying it in the store, or defeating Team GO Rocket Grunts to obtain pieces of the Rocket Radar. These Grunts tend to appear in PokéStops or in balloons. When you collect six Mysterious Components that they drop after being defeated, you immediately get a Rocket Radar in your inventory.
  3. Equip the Rocket Radar and use it to search for Cliff. He can appear in PokéStops or in balloons.
