The series has returned to Steam after a long period of exclusiveness on Battle.net, Activision Blizzard’s PC launcher. If you have a profile in the Valve store you can play both Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.0 without any issues. In fact, the battle royale follows in the free to play steps of the original, which means it is completely free and can be downloaded as a standalone title from this year’s main CoD release. You won’t find any content restrictions when trying to play, although microtransactions are present and focused solely on cosmetic options.
