Overwatch 2 reveals Season 2 contents with an action-filled trailer

Overwatch 2 is only a few days away from beginning its second season. From December 6 onwards, players will be able to gain access to the content Blizzard has been working on for a while now. Among those is Ramattra, the newest hero to join the cast of playable characters in the sequel. You can watch the spectacular launch trailer just below this words.

What can we expect from Season 2 in Overwatch 2?

As we mentioned previously, Ramattra’s arrival as the new playable character is the big news of this season. He’s a new Tank role hero that comes with two distinct forms, “Omnic” and “Nemesis Form”, both of which can be cycled through to make him a versatile fighter that keeps pressure on the enemy team. It’s second form allows him to change up his attacks into piercing damage, while reducing damage taken at the cost of movement speed. It’ll be your choice how to use each of these.

The map playlist gets a little bit bigger with Shambali, a new stage for the Payload mode that’s set in the Himalayas, a place that is well known by fans of the hero shooter. The Battle Pass will once again offer a hundred levels of rewards that this time will be themed mostly around the Greek Pantheon of Gods, with the Junker Queen receiving a Zeus inspired Legendary Skin at the end of the pass.

Starting on the 4th of January, a new limited time mode called “Battle for Olympus” will be made available. No details have been shared at this point, but we can expect special rewards linked to this activity to be present.

Remember Overwatch 2’s Season 2 will begin this December 6 in every platform: PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch. You can find more details about Ramattra by clicking on this link.
