The Mandalorian Season 3 reveals details and a new release date
Din Djarin and Grogu go on an epic adventure to redeem the mandalorian, exiled from his cult.
The Mandalorian’s third season has been delayed, but it’s only a few days more. Lucasfilm originally announced that the series would return to Disney+ in February of 2023, but now the definitive date is March 1. Din Djarin and little Grogu will continue their adventure, which will take them to the planet Mandalore. The production house was also present during CCXP Brazil, where they revealed a new trailer.
While the footage has not been released to the wider public outside of the expo, its content has been described by Bespin Bulletin, an information portal about all things Star Wars. The trailer begins with Din Djarin and Grogu already on their way to MAndalore, where the mandalorian will have to complete a mythical quest to be readmitted into his cult.
Bo-Katan Kryze, sister of duchess Satine (former ruler of Mandalore and Obi-Wan Kenobi’s lover) sits on the throne, but looks angry about not having the DarkSaber that cements her as legitimate ruler. Mando wields the weapon, so she can only truly take charge if she takes the saber by force. Next, a planet that looks like Coruscant is shown, with quick flashes of Greef Karga and Peli Motto. Tons of action, and Grogu using The Force against a monster.
Before The Mandalorian 3, the second season of The Bad Batch arrives
From January 4 onwards the animated series about clones gone bad comes back. The Bad Batch season 2 is set immediately after the fall of the Galactic Republic, with the titular crew of misfit clones on the run. This sequel to The Clone Wars was set in motion by that show’s final season, with a few episodes centered around the mythical squad.
In 2023, Star Wars is also planning on releasing even more shows: Ahsoka, Skeleton Crew, Star Wars: Visions’ second season, and the children’s oriented show Young Jedi Adventures. Take a look at the full schedule of releases.
