Pokémon Scarlet & Violet confirms new tera raid event with Salamence and Tyranitar

We share with you the date and all the details of the special tera raid event of Pokémon Scarlet & Violet dedicated to Salamence and Tyranitar.

Update:
Pokémon Scarlet & Violet confirms new tera raid event with Salamence and Tyranitar

Pokémon Scarlet & Violet continues to offer new opportunities to the players to capture high-level Pokémon through special events. The third special tera raid already has a date and their protagonists: Salamence and Tyranitar. Between December 9 and 11, you will see both Pokémon in a number of crystals around the map.

Each of these Pokémon will have its own raid in each version of the game, with Tyranitar in Pokémon Scarlet and Salamence in Pokémon Violet. Tyranitar and Salamence's tera raids will be 4 and 5 stars, a long way from the difficulty rating we saw with the first black crystal tera raid. During its time span, you will be able to catch Pokémon in a wider variety of tera-types than we can see in the course of the adventure.

To access them we recommend that you complete at least 18 medals in the main story. The raids of a certain level are unlocked as you progress in it. In addition, the black crystal medals require at least 5 victories in the three 6-star raids, which are unlocked after watching the game credits.

December events in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet

Pokémon Scarlet & Violet will keep December exciting for fans of the ninth generation. The first round of Unrivaled Charizard ended last December 4, but you'll have a second chance before the end of 2022. It will be available again between Thursday, December 15th at 4:00 pm PST and Sunday, December 18th at 3:59 pm.

What does this mean? Well, if you missed it, you will have another try to catch the Pokémon in question. If you caught it in the first event you won't be able to get another one. In case you want to maximize breeding, we must tell you that this Charizard is compatible with other Pokémon. Put it next to a Ditto at a picnic and get Charmander eggs to share with your friends.
