Full screen

Keldeo is Pokémon number 647 in the PokéDex of Pokémon GO. It is a Mythic Pokémon available through events and Special Research. In this Pokémon GO guide, we tell you how to catch Keldeo. Let's get started:

How to capture Keldeo in Pokémon GO? Where does it appear?

Keldeo is available to all Pokémon GO players with the paid Special Investigation called Something Extraordinary. Players who complete it will have the chance to be able to capture Keldeo, a Mythic Pokémon.

Something Extraordinary is a Special Investigation that was added to Pokémon GO on December 10, 2022; it is added to our list of Special Investigations for logging into Pokémon GO only on December 10th,2022, and on December 11th, 2022 if we purchase the event ticket, which is worth $9.99 or the equivalent in our local currency. Something Extraordinary will remain active until we complete all the tasks it asks us to perform.

At the end of the fifth phase of the Something Extraordinary tasks, we will encounter Keldeo. And, as with all other Special Research and Mythical Pokémon encounters, it's impossible to miss. This is, for now, the only way we have to get Keldeo in Pokémon GO: by completing its paid Special Investigation. If at some point any more events are added that allow us to catch Keldeo in Pokémon GO, we will update this guide and give you all the details.

Keldeo is Pokémon 647 and one of the four Mythical Pokémon of the Fifth Generation. The other Mythical Pokémon of this Generation of the games are Victini, Meloetta, and Genesect.
