Update:
How much have you played this year on PS4 and PS5? You can now see your 2022 summary with Wrap-up

2022 is just a few weeks away from closing. A new year closes after 12 dizzying months around the video game industry. As now a tradition with many video game platforms, PlayStation is sharing with its players their gaming data throughout the year.

What do you need to get all that data to think about “how I achieved so much (or so little)”? You just need to log in with your PlayStation Network account at this link. Inside you will see four tabs that you can discover little by little: total game time, most played, trophies earned, and your PlayStation Plus data in case you have been a member. The information collected covers PS5 and PS4 in those players who have invested at least 10 hours between January 1 and December 31, 2022. Of course, for the data to be recorded you must have applied in the "full data collection" tab within your account settings.

Depending on the predominant genre of your game sessions in 2022, you will be rewarded with one of six avatars for your profile. They all feature the friendly Astrobot mascot. At the bottom of your summary, you will see a code to redeem at the PlayStation Store for the avatar you have obtained.

2023 aims high

Elden Ring, God of War: Ragnarök, Horizon Forbidden West, Gran Turismo 7... many have been the titles grabbing users' cards. At the bottom of the page, we can see a glimpse of the big names appearing on the horizon of 2023 and beyond. Forspoken, Resident Evil 4, Hogwarts Legacy, Street Fighter 6, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth... Although it does not show up, PlayStation soon has the launch of PS VR2, the next generation of its virtual reality device scheduled for next February 22, 2023.
