Hogwarts Legacy delays it’s last gen and Nintendo Switch versions
Warner Bros. Games confirmed Hogwarts Legacy’s delay for PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. The current gen versions are still coming on February 10.
Fans of the J.K. Rowling license will have to go back to their calendars and reschedule, because Hogwarts Legacy has gotten some delays. This time, however, it’ll only affect past generation versions, as well as the Nintendo Switch version. On PS4 and Xbox One the game will now release on April 4, 2023, but for Nintendo fans the wait will extend all the way to July 25, 2023.
Through a brief tweet posted on social media, the game’s official account mentioned that the team is looking forward to offering the game to fans so long as it is “the best possible game experience across all platforms.” But don’t worry: the game’s release is still set for February 10, 2023 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The deluxe edition of these versions even includes early access for 72 hours, meaning some players will be able to play the game from February 7.
Witchcraft and sorcery as a gift for the Holidays
Warner Bros. Games will show off new Hogwarts Legacy gameplay during the holiday season. It’ll happen today, December 14, at 10 AM Pacific, and you’ll be able to get an even deeper look at its systems and mechanics. The showcase happens only a month after the previous one, where Avalanche showed off exploration in and around the school grounds.
