Cinderace comes to Pokémon Scarlet & Violet: details and date of the new Tera Raid

The latest evolution of Scorbunny will arrive in Paldea in the form of a complicated 7-star Tera Raid. We share with you everything you need to know.

Update:
Cinderace comes to Pokémon Scarlet & Violet: details and date of the new Tera Raid

We already know the next 7-star Tera Raid that we will be able to play in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet. It's none other than Cinderace, a Galar Pokémon beloved by the community, which will have the Fighting Tera-type and the Mightiest Mark. Although we'll tell you how to defeat it when the time comes, for now we'll focus on the details of the event, which will only be available for a few days.

Date, time and lenght of Cinderace's Tera Raid

This 7-star Tera Raid will only be available for a limited time, in exactly the same way as we saw with Charizard. Below we share the time windows in which you will be able to find it to try to catch it.

  • December 30th at 00:00 UTC through January 1st 2022 at 23:59 UTC.
  • January 13th at 00:00 UTC through January 15th at 23:59 UTC.

Cinderace is a Pokémon introduced in the 8th Generation of the franchise (Pokémon Sword and Shield). It is the last evolution of Scorbunny, the Fire-type starter. We know that in the third raid it will benefit from the Fighting Tera Type, although the ability it will have is unknown. The ability it usually has is Blaze, which boosts Fire-type attacks by 50% when its HP drops below one-third, although if it has the hidden ability Libero, things will be even more difficult, as it allows it to change its type before performing a move of the same type. That means it will take advantage of the STAB to attack with more strength regardless of the hit it uses.

In addition to Cinderace, which stands out for not being part of the Pokédex of Paldea (as already happened with Charizard), there will also be three raids of Delibird, the Delivery Pokémon. A classic of the series that is already part of Pokémon Scarlet & Violet, which you can capture without problems at almost any point of Glaseado Mountain.
