There are several surprising elements in the results. For starters, this generation's favorite in Japan is Tinkaton, the Fairy and Steel-type Pokémon that appears as a result of evolving Tinkatuff. Its potential in competitive play has led it to be one of the most chosen by fans.

It is followed by Clodsire, the Paldean evolution of Wooper, the regional form of the popular Pokémon. Meowscarada, the latest evolution of one of the starter Pokémon, Sprigatito, closes the podium. The legendaries, Koraidon and Miradon, achieve the 12th and 18th positions, respectively. Remember that Pokémon Scarlet & Violet is available exclusively for Nintendo Switch.
