The new generation of Razer Blade laptops was announced, with the arrival of the Blade 16 and Blade 18. These gaming-focused laptops are powered by the 13th generation Intel Core i9 HX chipset, compatible with DDR5 56000 MHz memory and NVIDIA's RTX 40 series.
For its part, the Razer Blade 16 features a design that seeks to balance performance with portability. At first glance, its display is what catches the eye, being the first configurable 16-inch HDR-capable mini-LED display with a maximum brightness of 1000 nits. This display features a native UHD+ resolution with a 120 Hz refresh rate, while its Gamer mode boosts it to increase the refresh rate to 240 Hz in native FHD+.
Meanwhile, the Razer Blade 18 is billed as Razer's most powerful laptop, targeting both hardcore gamers and content creators. This laptop features a huge 18-inch QHD+ display with a 240 Hz refresh rate. From Razer, they see this laptop as a desktop replacement with an integrated 5 MP webcam, 6 speakers with THX Spatial Audio, and even a hyper-efficient vapor chamber cooling.

Razer Kiyo Pro Ultra, a webcam that aims for high-image quality
Focused on content creators who really want to show the best possible image quality in their streams, Razer showed the Razer Kiyo Pro Ultra, which will allow its users, DSLR-level quality, but with plug-and-play simplicity.
This camera features a 1/1.2" STRAVIS 2 sensor from Sony with a pixel size of 2.9 μm, as well as a custom F/1.7 ultra-wide aperture lens. In addition, it features a state-of-the-art processor that can convert recordings into various video formats, from uncompressed 4K 30 FPS into uncompressed 4K 24 FPS, 1440p 30 FPS. Added to this is an AI-assisted autofocus that tracks the user's face, ensuring a sharp focus on the face while enabling a bokeh effect without the need for software or any other device.
The setup of the Razer Kiyo Pro Ultra aims to be simple. By simply connecting it with USB 3.0, users can have quick access to the device. Those who want to move it around will be able to adjust the camera settings via Razer Synapse. The device is available starting today, January 5 at RazerStores.
Razer Edge
Razer also showed what will be its Android device focused on mobile gaming, the Razer Edge. It features a 6.8" AMOLED display and a FHD+ resolution with a 144 Hz refresh rate. This device is powered by a Snapdragon G3x Gen 1 and an active cooling system. The device will have two versions, the Razer Edge (Wi-Fi) and the Razer Edge 5G, both of which will arrive on January 26 in the United States. The former will be available through the RazerStore, while the latter will be sold exclusively at Verizon stores.
VR accessories for Meta Quest 2
Meta Quest 2 will not be left behind by the company. Razer announced an adjustable strap, as well as a facial interface. This strap, made of high-performance nylon, aims to provide the user with comfort when putting on the visor, allowing for greater balance.
On the other hand, Razer's facial interface was developed for greater comfort on the face when putting on the visor. Here what is sought is to eliminate facial pressure, as well as to avoid skin irritation by using hypoallergenic materials. At the same time, its design and materials allow for greater immersion by better-blocking light, while still providing ventilation to the player's face, also making cleaning and maintenance of this accessory much easier.
For now, these peripherals for the Meta Quest 2 are expected to be available in the United States in the first quarter of 2023.
Razer Leviathan V2 Pro, sound that follows you
We close with one of the peripherals that caught our attention, the Razer Leviathan V2 Pro sound bar, which through AI allows the tracking of the user's head, allowing 3D audio without the need for cables, or other speakers around us.
This new sound bar enables surround sound, allowing users to always have optimal audio no matter where and how they are sitting thanks to its AI and integrated IR camera. Together, this allows the sound to adapt to the user's positioning in real time. This is also supported by THX Spatial Audio, allowing two modes in which users can use this soundbar.
This soundbar will also include a subwoofer, and as you would expect from a Razer product, it will be compatible with Razer Chroma RGB, so you will have up to 30 lighting zones that can be configured and have an ever-growing ecosystem of colors. The Razer Leviathan V2 Pro will be available from February 2023 from the Razer Store at a price of $399.99.
