A very important figure in the video game industry, as he was one of the minds behind the Sound Blaster cards that dominated the market during the 90s. The company, led by the Singapore born executive, is also remembered for the famous legal battle against Apple, in which the American company had to pay 100 million dollars to Creative Labs for making use of the user interface of one of its flagship products, the iPod.

A time marked by losses

In recent years we have witnessed the loss of various prominent figures in the world of leisure, sports and entertainment. The years go by and we do not forget the legendary Satoru Iwata (1959-2015). In recent months, we have also had to regret the departure of such names such as Benoit Sokal (Microids), Kentako Miura (Berserk), Rieko Kodama (SEGA), Ichiro Mizuka (Mazinger Z), Kevin Conroy (Batman), Angelo Badalamenti ( Twin Peaks), Kazuki Takahashi (Yu-Gi-Oh!), Low Roar's Ryan Karazija, whom many gamers know from Death Stranding or former soccer player and soccer legend Pelé, among others. We hope that we will not have to give a lot of news of this type in 2023.
