Namco Bandai
One Piece Odyssey’s demo will let you play through the first two hours of the game, now on PS4, PS5, and Xbox
Bandai Namco’s new production is coming to stores on January 13 for consoles and PC.
The RPG that many manga and anime fans have been waiting for is just around the corner. One Piece Odyssey, developed by ILCA (Pokémon Shining Pearl/Brilliant Diamond), will be hitting the waves very soon, but before that happens those who want to enjoy its first two hours can already do so. Bandai Namco has published a demo on the PlayStation Store (PS4, PS5) and the Microsoft Store (Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S).
Altered memories
One Piece Odyssey invites the player to explore the world of Memoria, a universe made up of the memories of past adventures of the protagonists of the popular series. The Straw Hat crew must recover their powers and will be able to revisit locations such as Alabasta, Water Seven, Marineford and Dressrosa.
Let us remember that in the Marineford arc we witnessed some of Luffy's biggest fights against other pirates and buccaneers. The objective? Free his brother Portgas D. Ace. On this occasion, he will relive the adventure in a different way, together with his crew. Will they also react differently?
The Memories of Dressrosa lead the One Piece heroes to fight Doflamingo. Luffy, Sabo and Trafalgar Law will have no choice but to use all their skills to get rid of the bounty that hangs over their heads.
One Piece Odyssey is scheduled for January 13 on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PC. The game uses classic JRPG mechanics to articulate an alternative story in which we will manage the characters of the manga and anime. Battles, ships and many treasures to discover await us.
