Valentine's Day 2023 is in the air, and Pokémon GO is celebrating in style with an event of its own. As part of the event, one of this season's classics is back: Furfrou Heart Trim. As long as it's Valentine's Day, we can give Furfrou a haircut to give it the Heart Trim. See below for all the details:
How to get Furfrou's Heart Trim Form in Pokémon GO
As we explained in the Furfrou Guide, the Heart Trim Form will only be available in Pokémon GO during the Valentine's Day events. In 2023, we will be able to Heart Trim Furfrou between Wednesday, February 8, 2023, at 10:00 am local time and Tuesday, February 14, 2023, at 8:00 pm local time.
To trim Furfrou's fur, we need to do the following:
- First we need to catch a Furfrou. Caught wild Furfrou come in the wild form.
- In the menu of the Furfrou whose form we want to change, under "Power Up" we will see the option "Change Form". This will display all the available trims, which are different depending on the region of the game. The Heart Trim Form will also appear if we use this option during a Valentine's Day event in Pokémon GO.
- We select the trim we want and use the corresponding Stardust and Candies.
Furfrou is a highly valued and sought-after Pokémon in Pokémon HOME. It is common to see users willing to trade Legendary Pokémon and Shinys for a Furfrou with a hard-to-find trim, such as Heart Trim or Pharaoh. These styles can only be obtained by using the "Change Form" option in the Pokémon's Details Menu.
We recommend that you collect several Furfrou with Heart Trim and then transfer them to Pokémon HOME so that you can trade them for rare and powerful Pokémon in HOME - you never know!
