Minecraft x Crocs is a new collaboration that brings blocky adventures to comfy shoes
Fans of Minecraft will be able to enjoy it even while on a walk now, thanks to a new collaboration of the game with Crocs, the comfy footwear company.
In a surprising but not all that crazy reveal, the Minecraft x Crocs collaboration between the game and the comfy footwear company was revealed today, comprising a new limited edition collection of shoes and sandals, soon to be available around the world.
Through a press release, Minecraft announced “Minecraft x Crocs” would be launching worldwide on February 16, which will include a variety of different styles and models available for purchase. All of these shoes will have Minecraft-themed designs, and if it wasn’t enough, they will also allow owners to unlock an in-game pair of Crocs in Minecraft.
The complete collection will include several models, which you can find below:
- Two Classic Clogs (one for adults, another for kids)
- Two Classic Elevated Clogs (one for adults, another for kids)
- One Classic Slide (only for adults)
- Two Minecraft-themed Jibbitz Charms sets that include: 5 flat charms with Steve, Alex, and Enderman, a Creeper, and a Pig, as well as a 3D charm pack that includes a variety of characters, mobs, and blocks.
- A pair of Minecraft x Crocs for the game, available to download for free in the Minecraft Dressing Room
And just in case you haven’t yet been convinced about this incredible collaboration, they’ve even gone ahead and released a launch trailer for it, which reveals that even in-game, you’ll be able to put on your Crocs in “sports mode” to be able to run real fast, and even clear enormous gaps in a single bound (of course, for marketing purposes only, as they’ve not yet confirmed wether or not Crocs give you superpowers…yet).
Whether you love them or you hate them, you can’t deny that both of these brands are gigantic commercial successes. One of them has been one of the world's best selling games in the history of the industry for over a decade, while the other is a line of shoes that has conquered sidewalks all over the world even though most people are conflicted about them (until they try them on).
