Broken sink? Clogged pipes? Flooded house? Any other pipe-related trouble? Then call the Mario brothers on the double and have it all fixed fast! The Super Mario Brothers Movie by Nintendo and Illumination just released a new spot for the movie, aired during the Super Bowl last night, and it brings back the mythical rap theme of the classic animated and live-action show from the 80’s.

Mario and Luigi, back in business

In the video, which you can see below, the New York brothers take up their plungers and show their true profession, answering the citizen’s pleas of help quickly on their van. A woman’s sink is overflowing and these two unlikely heroes use all of their tools to quickly and efficiently fix it all. Of course, it’s all shot in the style of a corny local ad as if it was the 90s, with film-grain, rap, and all. They even made a full page for their business, and the number on the spot is a real line you can call right now to hear Luigi.

“Welcome to Super Mario Bros. Plumbing! We are brothers and yes, we are super. My little (but taller) brother, Luigi, and I were tired of dealing with spiky bosses, so we jumped at the opportunity to take on Brooklyn’s plumbing problems all by ourselves,” reads the brother’s presentation on their website.

There’s even some testimonials from some of their clients. “The Mario Bros. are the very best in the business! They’re polite, professional, adorable, and treated me like family!”said “BrosMom”. “BrKlyn Couple” left a bit of more negative message: “SMBP left my house an absolute MESS! I would have given them only 1 star, but my sweet angel of a dog absolutely loved them. He just wouldn’t leave them alone!”

The Super Mario Bros. Movie is releasing on April 7 in the United States. Japanese fans and viewers will have to wait until April 28 instead. However, given what they’ve chosen to show off so far, we can’t wait to watch the entire movie to find even more easter eggs and references to the franchise’s long history.
