New Pokémon Presents for Pokémon Day 2023 Announced: Date, Time and First Details

As has become a tradition, there will be an " about 20-minute" presentation during Pokémon Day that will focus on news related to the franchise.

New Pokémon Presents for Pokémon Day 2023 Announced: Date, Time and First Details

The Pokémon Company confirms a new edition of Pokémon Presents, the first in 2023. To celebrate Pokémon Day on February 27, the company will prepare a broadcast of "about 20 minutes of exciting Pokémon news”. It will air on the same day at 6:00 a.m. PT on their official YouTube channel.

You can follow the event on the official YouTube channel of the brand. They have not anticipated the contents that will be presented, but they usually update the schedule of projects both inside and outside of, in this case, Nintendo Switch. After the release of Pokémon Scarlet & Violet last November 2022, it remains up in the air what we can expect from the next installments.

Will Mystery World return? Will we have a new remake in sight? Will we know anything about any post-release content for the ninth generation? What will come to mobile this time? Too many unanswered questions, at least for the moment. The Pokémon Company will show what's in store for us in the coming months under the license.

When will Pokémon Presents start in the United States?

We'll have to get up early, at least on the West Coast, to catch this Pokémon Presents. Below is the schedule for when it will be available in the United States:

  • 9:00 AM ET
  • 8:00 AM CT
  • 6:00 AM PT

A lighter year for Pokémon?

Last year's Pokémon Presents featured a strong cadence of brand-related announcements from The Pokémon Company. From updates to Pokémon Sword and Shield to Pokémon Unite, there was little time for players to begin their journey into the past thanks to Pokémon Legends Arceus and take the first steps toward what would become Pokémon Scarlet & Violet. Things seem to be calming down for now, but we can't help but think about all the surprises we're sure to get in a week's time. Will we see something related to the new Pokémon anime? We'll find out next week.
