State of Play is coming back with PS VR2 games, third party titles, and Suicide Squad
PlayStation’s State of Play is back with its first showcase of 2023 this week with new titles for PS VR2, PlayStation 5, and a deep dive into Rocksteady’s Suicide Squad.
New State of Play! PlayStation returns with its online showcase this February 23 at 1:00 p.m. (PT). The company hasn't confirmed the full duration of the event, but we do know that one of the stars will be Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, which will show off over 15 minutes of gameplay, as part of what the team has prepared for its launch.
Along with the Rocksteady Studios game, PlayStation has pointed out that we can expect relevant news for PS VR2. Specifically, they will show a first look at five games that will arrive throughout 2023, which suggests that they have not yet been revealed as part of their catalog. They will also share "new looks at some anticipated games from our third-party partners" as part of the more “traditional” section of the presentation, meaning regular PlayStation 5 and not VR.
You can follow the event through the official PlayStation channels on YouTube, Twitch and Twitter. February still has a lot to say.
What time will the State of Play start?
We won’t have to get up super early or stay up until the middle of the night to enjoy this presentation! In the US, the show will begin streaming at 1:00 PM Pacific time, which means that it’ll be a little bit after noon for the west coast, while the rest of the timezones will have a little bit more time to prepare and enjoy. Below you’ll find some more timezones:
1:00 PM Pacific
3:00 PM Central
4:00 PM Eastern
